The ADAPT MIPS is Bollé's eco-designed mountain bike helmet that will protect you in any situation thanks to the AVID Progressive EPS and the Mips brain protection system, while keeping a feeling of freshness with its large vents.
The MIPS® protection system is a low-friction layer inside a helmet. Usually located between the liner and the EPS protective foam, it allows the head to move in all directions by 10 to 15 millimeters relative to the helmet, which reduces the rotational movement transmitted to the brain during oblique impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System is designed to integrate perfectly with the design of the helmet without reducing comfort, fit or ventilation. There are different MIPS® systems but all consist of low-friction technology inside a helmet to make it safer and allow you to fully enjoy your favorite activity.
